- ➤ Kevin Reardon, the last president of the First National Bank of Joliet, died Monday at his home at age 89 — he led the bank for 41 years and left a lasting mark on local banking. Joliet Catholic, fresh off a 49-0 shutout of De La Salle, now faces Providence in an Orange Division title game while Niles Notre Dame snapped a five-game losing streak with a 40-18 win over Leo—setting up a pivotal contest against Marist on Friday night.
