Good morning, Joliet.

Emmanuel Lopez, the new executive director of the Joliet City Center Partnership, invites local business owners and landlords in the Special Service Area to coffee meetings at Jitters — 178 North Chicago St. from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. today and at Social Butterfly Coffee — 310 North Ottawa St. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 15 with registration required.

Today the city began widening and resurfacing County Line Road while closing Tom Giarrante Drive for the work—detours direct traffic to Hadrian Drive.
