- ➤ Today, the Lincoln-Way Foundation for Educational Excellence announced that it added Loreal Flowers to its board of directors — her passion for lifelong learning matches the foundation’s goal to support students in Lincoln-Way High School District 210. The board has awarded nearly $5 million in grants and scholarships for programs and resources — and interested community members can submit involvement forms to learn more. Herald-News
- ➤ At a recent board meeting, the district honored students from Joliet Central and Joliet West with College Board National Recognition Awards—one for scoring among the top test-takers on key exams and another for being the first in their families to attend college.
