  • Joliet City Council postponed the vote on the $197,000 'Dome of Unity' sculpture for the new downtown city square because Mayor Terry D’Arcy said there has been public resistance and the cost was not part of the approved budget—staff plan to have the Arts Commission present more details later.  Herald-News
