- ➤ Police said on Monday that 46-year-old George H. Hall held two relatives hostage at gunpoint in a Joliet Township home on the 700 block of Pontiac Street until one victim escaped, and he left the scene about 90 seconds later—police then arrested him and found a loaded 9mm handgun with a defaced serial number in the home.
