On Aug. 5, Joliet honored 10 residents with the 2025 Neighborhood Hero Award for keeping their lawns, flowers and hardscape areas neat and attractive—each received a yard sign at a City Council meeting that recognized their efforts.
The program celebrates those who take pride in beautifying their neighborhoods.
