- ➤ On Sunday, the Joliet Fire Department responded to a porch fire on the 1700 block of Great Falls Drive at 5 p.m. and extinguished the heavy flames within 90 minutes while a neighbor's alert helped one occupant safely exit; the cause of the fire remains under investigation. Herald-News
