Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 21st of June.
Good morning, Joliet.
🏛️ Government
On Friday, the Joliet City Council approved a settlement to end litigation with warehouse developers CenterPoint and NorthPoint that focused on traffic and road repair costs.
The deal requires a regional traffic study and will turn Millsdale Road into a cul-de-sac — a move designed to reduce truck traffic — though some township officials said they had little time to review the agreement.
