- ➤ A Chicago man, 32-year-old Jonathan Britton, was charged with multiple firearm offenses after a shooting left three men injured on June 12 at about 9:47 p.m. outside Riverwalk Homes Apartments on North Broadway Street in Joliet — one victim is in serious condition with gunshot wounds to both legs, police said. - ➤ The Joliet City Council is voting today on a plan to allow 2-hour free street parking downtown—if approved, free parking will begin on Sept. 1 after new signs are installed.
