- ➤ Residents in the Joliet Catholic Academy area will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Croatian Cultural Club (1503 Clement St.) to discuss the proposed stadium plan, even after a planned vote was postponed. - ➤ Joliet police said three men were injured in a shooting outside Riverwalk Homes Apartments in the 300-block of North Broadway Street on Thursday night—one 30-year-old man is in serious condition while a 32-year-old and a 45-year-old received treatment for leg wounds and officers recovered a gun with two vehicles damaged. - ➤ Joliet Catholic Academy’s plan to build an on-campus stadium is delayed for at least another month as the school revises its planned unit development application that the city will review through the Plan Commission and City Council.
