- ➤ Lockport Township will host its ninth annual senior expo on June 3 at the township office (1463 Farrell Road) with over 40 local organizations offering services such as immunizations, a shred truck, raffle prizes, and an ice cream social. - ➤ Providence beat Oak Forest 10-0 in a five-inning sectional semifinal on Tuesday as Aleigh Hill had three hits and Macie Robbins pitched a two-hitter (a strong showing for the team). They will face the Morris-Tinley Park winner in Friday's sectional championship. Herald-News
- ➤ Lockport’s senior pitcher Bridgit Faut led her team to a 2-0 win against Lincoln-Way East on Tuesday, setting them up to meet Lincoln-Way West in the sectional title game Friday at 4 p.m. The victory was powered by strong defense and timely hits that maintained a safe lead. Herald-News
