- ➤ Hollywood Casino is building a new Joliet location at Rock Run Collection near Interstates 55 and 80 that will offer more than gambling—a restaurant by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis and a 10,000-square-foot event space—to appeal to families. Marketing Director Kristen Kronland said the project will change the property’s look from its old art decco style and will finish by late 2025 with plans for a hotel partnership with Cullinan Properties. - ➤ Hollywood Casino Joliet is being built near Interstates 55 and 80 and will feature a Boulevard Food & Drink Hall with restaurants such as Stephanie Izard’s Lucky Goat, Antique Taco, Pretty Cool Ice Cream, and Five50 Pizza. McClain Camarota Hospitality will operate the casino—which is expected to open later in 2025 subject to regulatory approval—and it will also include Sorellina by Giada DeLaurentiis. Herald-News
