- ➤ A Joliet man, 35-year-old Benito Delgado, was charged with bank robbery after entering BMO bank at 78 N. Chicago St. on April 21 when he handed the teller a note demanding $30,000—he said he needed money for vehicle repairs and that the universe owed him money; Delgado now faces charges of financial institution robbery, burglary and theft with a court date set for May 8.
