- ➤ A 32-year-old Plainfield man, identified as Dejon Weems, was arrested just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday for allegedly stabbing a 59-year-old man over 10 times near the intersection of Cass Street — Eastern Avenue in Joliet, and paramedics took the victim to St. Joseph Medical Center where he remains in critical but stable condition.
