GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ EPA granted a $610 million low-interest loan today to fund a 62-mile pipeline project that will bring Lake Michigan water to Joliet, Crest Hill, Shorewood, Romeoville, Minooka and Channahon. The project, which will supply 300,000 residents, is set to be completed by 2030 and covers 49% of the funding needed. Herald-News
