- ➤ Joliet City Council is voting today on plans for the Prairie Landing subdivision at 2200 Essington Road, which includes rezoning to allow DR Horton to build 120 single-family homes on land partly owned by Mayor Terry D’Arcy. The mayor excused himself from Monday’s meeting as residents raised concerns about drainage and loss of trees + the council considered measures to address these issues. Herald-News
