- ➤ Minooka girls wrestling won three individual titles (275 points) to claim the Southwest Prairie Conference championship at Bolingbrook on Friday. Lincoln-Way West led in boys bowling at state, while other local teams competed in basketball and dance events. Herald-News
- ➤ Joliet Central boys basketball team earned a 58 to 49 win against Plainfield Central Friday night after building a 20 point lead in the first half. The win snapped a 17 day winless streak and showed improved teamwork on the road. Herald-News
