- ➤ Comedian Drew Lynch, celebrated from America's Got Talent, will perform at Rialto Square Theatre downtown on Saturday, Jan. 31 (tickets start at $37.50). Herald-News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A section of the Joliet Junction Trail from McDonough Street to Moen Avenue is closed for Interstate 80 construction. The Forest Preserve District said the closure began on Jan. 26 (it will last until March 21) and may extend (inclement weather could delay reopening). Herald-News
- ➤ The Ruby Street bridge in downtown Joliet remains closed for emergency repairs as IDOT said — repair evaluations are ongoing and no reopening timeline was given; motorists must find alternate routes across the Des Plaines River. Herald-News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Will County Health Department will host a walk-in vaccination clinic Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at its Community Room (501 Ella Ave. in Joliet) offering RSV vaccines for infants up to 8 months, COVID-19 shots for all ages, and low-cost flu shots for the uninsured. Herald-News
